Hello everyone,
been giving the task of fitting 12 showers in a sports centre from a friend. I am a plumber, heating engineer but only ever do heatings. What would be best to fit for these showers, so there is enough and sufficient hot water? Any advice would be great. Thanks

Don't worry lads. I am a good heating engineer. I specialise in installing combi heating systems and know when something's out my range. Doesn't make me a bad plumber-heating engineer. Taking jobs on you can't handle, well a think that would make me one.

Everyone has to learn somehow Liam, you'll never better yourself by doing combis all day long, they're the easiest part of plumbing and heating there is (dunno how you can be a combi "specialist").

Take the job, just get guidance and advice where you can and DON'T SUPPLY THE MATERIALS YOURSELF.

Haha a didn't say am a specialist just that what I specialise in. That could be at any level. No your right, but that's just were the work is and has been since I served my time. I fit one day central heatings on social housing. I would love to move on to bigger and better things though.

Liam, not getting at you. What I meant was that I'm worried that you've been asked to do this but haven't been given a spec etc. How do they intend to pay you, against what criteria?
