i dont have time to look, but i'm sure No1 will be reg8.1 (i'm sure this refers to alterations to a property which effect safety) i agree with the other 2, although i have never seen a question like no3 before

I make 0 out of three I am afraid

Q 1..is 8.1 as said

Q 2.. read question,we are looking pre fitting and the appliance standards

Q 3.. least movement at ground level so ....

Hope helps, not giving direct answers as will not help 🙂

A little advise when you are doing questions, there are so many you can become brain dead,if you come across one that does not seem to make sense, leave it and come back to it,also do not do questions in order, they are doing them now, so you have to keep going back and forth the reg book to check, if not sure ,as they are looking for you to be able to look up required regs on the job when needed.
For assessment pick the section, say ventilation ,then find all questions on ventilation, read all the questions on ventilation briefly, read through section and answer as you come across question ,then all on Combustion ect, then go back and mop up

A little clue

Appliances and fittings to satisfy the essential requirements and to be safe
7.—(1) No manufacturer or his authorised representative established in the Community shall supply an appliance or a fitting which does not satisfy the essential requirements.

(2) No person shall supply an appliance which, when normally used, is not safe; and, in this paragraph, "normally used" in relation to use means use—

This is not from GAS SAFTEY (INSTALLATION & USE) REGS 😛

We have not got to the installation bit yet

thanks fella looking forwad to the grafting bit now

Question one i dont know. should be in the blue book though with a funny pattern on the front, holds all the regs in.

Number two states in the question that its before installation so the reg in force won't be the installation and use. (easy mistake, its the way the question is and just flying trough the question sometimes miss the obvious clue)

Number 3 is a pain in my rear end, i had this question on my ACS in October and when i read it just then i got 5 words in and knew the rest. I beleive from memory its the last one, highest point.
