Was there a few nights back with croppie and we having a bit of a tit for tat with a couple of them, during the tit for tat I noticed that GMES (mod?) avatar was a huge Silverback so I asked if it was a picture of his mum :devil2:

Sat back waiting for the backlash or even the ban and got a "like", at least he has a soh.

This forum style is unusable on any mobile device etc. We have found that mobiles and tablets make up about 65% of the traffic on those forums. Yet on this forum it's about 25%. So if we can get people browsing more, and for longer, on mobiles, it means we'll get more traffic from unregistered and registered members.

I will work with you all to make it as appealing as I can. And change anything you don't like etc. But it has to happen. This forum software was obsolete a long time ago.

Checkout the forums now, I've changed the sponsors banners to bigger more comfy ones that fit mobiles better.

Worst thing for me over there is finding the current popular threads but maybe I`m missing it, wood for trees sort of thing.

top left hand side under forms (recent posts same as new posts)

It's probably because it was very new and I wasn't expecting such a change. I will be honest, there were features I did like.

I'm sure, when the inevitable happens, we'll all grumble a bit. Then we'll get over ourselves and carry on making this the number one plumber's forum in the UK.
