Dear Experts !

Situation: I am re-doing my kitchen, but the previous house owner had a butcher fit the boiler and pipes.
these pipes are currently running outside the wall , in a haphazard way.

Question: should the pipes be running in a channel in the wall or outside ?

Once I know this, I may have a job for you experts :)

Thanks
Mickey D.

Ok, il ask plasterer to create a little boxing around the fittings so they are easiky accessibke. The new plastic pipes he's fitted are 10mm quality pex barrier pipe. He said he has tested for pressure/leaks but I'm not sure what or how as the radiators are empty as they need to stay off for the plasterer whwho not coming for a couple weeks. plumber is telling me I need to add an inhibitor (what is this and where do I get it), should he not put this in as a matter of course if he's put plastic pipes in?

Some more photos of the radiator pipes he has installed i was previously unable to access. This guy is relentless. I have asked him to come and pressure test and make good his work. He has now told me that there is nothing wrong with his work, it is that no matter what he does it won't meet MY standards...He will not come any do any "further" work unless we pay a part payment. Obviously that is not going to happen.

this work quite honestly is worse than the worst work an apprentice might produce on his first day before any training and watching a u tube should produce better results. Rob Foster

this went in wrong box Anyway this work is worse than anything I might expect from a 1st day apprentice BRICKLAYER let alone a fitter. one could learn more about whats correct from u tube

I'm afraid to ask but hopefully the material costs weren't too much, they shouldn't have been. It needs to be recessed deeper and piped in copper, insulated and no buried joints, you know that now.

We paid £370 but that included other materials as he was also renovating my downstairs porch/toilet (that he's also botched) looks good but floor is on sub floor and hes only used 6mm ply so we have bounce, this is what triggered the whole thing. I picked up on that then started to look in to the pipes more. We are having major renovation and I could not access the radiator ones til now Hind sight is a wonderful thing, we used checked and vetted to hire them, they had very good reviews. It's difficult to know what to do for the best as we don't know any tradesman in the area so rely on websites like that. I will be reporting him for sure, I've alreadt sent an email to checked and vetted, thankfully I found out before I parted with more cash and he caused any further damage!
