I'm wondering at what point PLI would pay out if, say, a joint we install develops a leak that does not become evident for several years? I suppose the issue then becomes proving the joint was faulty at that time....

I remember my broker mentioning 'product liability' as being distinct from 'public liability' but at that time the type of work I was largely taking on was not such that I was concerned about it.
 
Hi guys. Me again. I’ve attached a copy of what the potential insurer has sent me if that’s ok. You’ll notice there’s no mention of legal cover.
