You don't need to test or buy a kit.

dont pay them until they prove to you they have added inhibitor. Your installer seems to be missing a bit of customer relations.

Ok, But I'm still in the dark with a power flush being done LATER to my Brand New boiler =
Will it not put rubbish into it? please.

sorry cannot upload the pics of flue
THERE are Plastic bags stuffed around the FLUE, on outside of house, the end of flue where vents are is not visible as too short.
BENCHMARK was Completed and LANDLORDS SAFETY CERT given. to me.
Even though the flue is SHORT cannot reach outside brickwork

If the flue's too short as you say both them documents are invalid.

Do not turn the boiler on.

If the Magnacleans fitted you won't be getting much debris or sludge into the heat exchanger. Get them back Monday and talk to them face to face. They could have lost the inhibitor bottle and just emptied one as you were so insistent.

DO NOT USE YOUR BOILER until the flue is sorted.

SW16 ? call in Pilmlico Plumbers they will sort it out CHK
and keep the retained payment and then sue for the rest
- by the looks of things it will be no contest CHK

Hi, and what do you think the 'other side of story is?'

Please explain; I have plastic bags STUFFED AROUND THE FLUE on exterior wall of flue end!.
The airvents of FLUE are NOT visible.

Put some pictures up, we can then see what you're looking at.

I have posted pic of Flue from outside house + = stuffed with plastic bags- Landlords Safety cert WAS issued on Friday!

I am based in Croydon and will be happy to attend. If the information you're giving is correct, then as croppie mentioned, your boiler warranty counts for nothing. Besides, your boiler will not operate satisfactorily if air intake from flue terminal is restricted. As for the inhibitor, if you're so concerned system is not treated, just dose system with inhibitor. To be honest with you, I strongly believe this whole story doesn't add up. Just my view.

hi pic of flue outside house, the boiler is inline with window to left ,
so theflue comes out much further and needs extension because of recess.
There is other pic at end of post ty

That satellite dish will never get a signal , they need to get sky back to sort that out

LOL ; but can you see the orange Sainsbury's plastic bag and others.

Hi, i appreciate that thank you, All info is totally correct,Pic is below. I do realise my warranty is nul n void, same as Landlord Certificate issued,.
But realy not sure what to do now, can another Gas Safe engineer;
Finish the Job and issue a new Benchmark if I get A new book from BAXI?
and landlord cert.

Well get someone else in, get them to complete jobs you feel haven't been done, then give the original company any remaining balance if there is any left, if they ask for it.

If they power flushed it, it should have took them a few hours if you have 6 rads. You should have seen them bring the machine in? They are pretty big.

Have you ever had problems with heating engineers before?
