Should their be an aav on the flow and returnits an openvented system cant seem to get air lock out I

Small squirt of washing up liquid shot into f/e tank cold feed, let it pull into system, and run round primary circuit only as you've got to rinse it all out afterwards, if doesn't work first time try a little more, this does work and has helped loads of engs. I know, taught to me by my dodgy master when I was an app 22 yrs back

And what is that meant to do ??

just pull out the thermostat on the boiler and let it warm up for a bit then pop it in an let things settle, dont even need to climb a ladder :) only for the brave and the customers gone out, can be a tadge noisy :)

cant see washing up liquid working. other than bubbles in the f and e

 You have a lot to learn. Of course it works. Its a trick i learnt during the Boer war

You draw it into the system through a drain valve and the air gets caught up in the bubbles.

Wouldn't recommend doing it on a new boiler.

Bet you think about this next time though, hey? You know you will! Then think of all the hours wasted lol

There's no way, it would need flushing out, quick blast of mains pressure will do the trick or boiling it, or closing down rads. Far quicker than trying to get soapy water in the system and back out.
