i replaced the diverter valve assembly on the alpha cb28 combi on thursday. all went well allthough the thing was in poo condition and never been serviced in its life other than the one i did. anyways i replaced the diverter valve and all was well. everything worked perfectly. off i went happy as larry.
customer calls me today to say every now and then the boiler will bang like a knocking sound and the hot water taps splutter sometimes.
now is it me or does this sound strange. i go rid of all the air in the hot water pipes before i left the job and it was definatley not banging, allthough noisy it was already noisy before i got to it,
any idea why the taps are spluttering (she said they dont always splutter just once or twice in the day and boiler bangs once or twice at random times)
going back on monday morning but could i have missed something? i dont think i did but hey i might be wrong.?
