Seem to get emails like this every once in a while. Get the impression the guy is holding himself back from singing about a flying car or cleaning chimneys with a bunch of penguins ... very dick van dyke!! 😄

I actually got one from someone who'd seen my website and were happy with what they saw, then went on to ask me how much to decorate their hall stairs and landing??

Perlustration is a fabulous word! I’ll be using that myself!
Perusal is far more common and basically means the same.

It’s when those are accompanied by an exhaustive list of minute details that they want you put a price against each individual action that I tend to steer away rapidly.
