Not according to Vaillant. However, I am with their sales director and commercial director tomorrow, so will confirm.

you supply commercial?

Sorry Shaun, no. In the Vaillant group, the person in charge of each brand has the title "commercial director" - so they have one commercial director for Vaillant, one for Glowworm etc.

Nothing to do with commercial boilers.

Thanks for the Williams reminder Shaun.
Getting back to them IQE boilers, the manager at screwfix said he would be willing to offer more discount than they were priced in store if I was interested, so ray might be right about non-ErP clearance?

It's a cheap boiler, but a rubbish one!

not a problem, worth an ask

You ever fitted any of these, Chalked?

Fitted a few sime boilers years ago. I think everyone fitted has been replaced.

I'm pretty sure they are still made to a price, not a quality.
I would rather not do the job, than fit something "cheap" then suffer the phone calls in a couple of years when it starts to go wrong.

Totally agree, fitting rubbish can be more hassle than its worth. Even when its not your fault the customer and there neighbors still remember the name on the van associated with that bad boiler.
