hey all. I hope you are all enjoying the weather and sweating buckets in lofts etc.

Went to a gledhill unvented today that is 5yrs old that has been leaking from jacket where immersion is. So thought it was the immersion. On further inspection it seems it is where the immersion boss is connected to the tank as dry around the immersion seal.

Anyone had this before?

Cheers guys Lee

Defective from manufacturer immersions been installed too tight and cracked boss ?

Had a bespoke cylinder made by Gledhills and had no problem. Actually walked round the place while they were making them which was quite fascinating, to me anyway.
