College told me that you need to be paid £95 per week, be insured and working at least 3 days a week, don't quote me on this, best place to go is employer and local college.

thats is true for them to sign you up, they must ensure your not being taken adbantage of
 
I started my apprenticeship when i was 20, But i wish i started when i was 16 I would be gas safe by now.
If you are going to go solo becareful if you get a apprenticeship 3 years later, my company wouldnt of taken me on if i had qualifications upto level 2 I think it stops there funding or summin.
