Ariston microGENUS HE 24

I was called to an Ariston microGENUS HE 24. The boiler shuts down after5 mins when the heating is on. Its fine when running hot water.
I called technical and they siad it needs a flush. which is costly, i was wondering if you knew if it could be anything else.

A telephone conversation doesn't confirm the need for a flush, the water quality determines the need for a flush, if the heating water is contaminated then flush it, if there is no evidence of contamination then the techs guesstimate is liable to be wrong.
