Baxi 105e......gas man.....where are you??

Non condensing Baxi 105e flying upto the 80 degrees neon as soon as heating/hot water is turned on......could this be a high limit stat fault? Or should I be looking elsewhere?
Not been out to it yet but there is also a report of fluctuating hot water. So could there be a blockage somewhere? Any advice is welcome.

sounds like plate heats blocked or pumps failed

could do if blocked badly ,also htg would be affected if pump dodgy or restriction/crud in main hex

think what i'm gonna do is have a look at the fliter in the return valve and see how bad that it is...then i'll take out pump and plate heat ex to check them. will check resistance on the stats as well. what ranges should be looking for on them??

11k cold on the thermistors forgot about the return filter good shout,also i am sure you have done this anyway check iso,s not shut custards get them confused when trying to put water in
