Baxi Bermuda to Combi change.

Ok I've started this thread to add some pictures and show what I intend to do. All advice welcome, I don't pretend to know everything and if anyone spots something they think is incorrect let me know.

first of all, can I confirm this is correct: this is the flow and return coming from the back boiler. Cold feed connected to return. If I remove the pump and rejoin the pipe I cut out the vent in the loft and I have my flow to connect on to.

next up disconnect return/cold feed run up in to loft and there is my flow and returns for the heating circuit. Boiler going in kitchen, run flow and returns straight through ceiling to run along and join onto my pipes I have already run in to loft from boiler?

Boiler is going to go here, kitchen cupboard is going.

Gas meter is in this cupboard behind cooker. Only gas in property is to boiler/fire and behind this cooker is a bayonet connection 500mm run from meter.

I know it's hard to assess without being there to see it for real but if there's anything glaringly obvious you think I haven't picked up I'm happy to hear it.

I'll be fitting thumb vents if thats what you mean?

Cut out out the pump, and link the pipes. Get rid of the feed and vent. Disregard the gravity flow and return ( if it's not fully pumped. Join your flow and return to the nearest heating pipework.
Gas pipe sized to boiler needs.

So cut out pump, link pipe this is my flow?

The pipe next to it is the cold feed/return, this is teed to boiler and disappears under the floor to heating. Cut out tee, this is my return?

Gas no probs, just going to cut all out and start again.

I knew I'd be asked that. The picture is deceiving, the wall space available is a lot more than the picture shows.

Pretty much what Chalked said, check which way pump is pumping before you cut out and pipe yours to suit (obvious I know)
Where is airing cupboard, does pipes from bbu go up into loft/airing cupboard then drop down to supply all rads?

Also as pump seems to be remote, is this gravity HW
If so check there's not any rads piped off it

The hot water comes from a combi cylinder in the loft, boiler is just doing the ch.

No rads are on drops.

Flow and return come off boiler and go straight under floor to rads.
