looking at getting a new fga and just wondering what one would be the best to buy out of all the new updated ones out there

I've got a anton v2 kit really impressed with it.
Check out e-bay they have some good deals on there occasionally

you need to take into account how much it is to calibrate and stuff, i was told the kane 455 is no very dear compared to others to calibrate

I'm using a TPI at the moment but also have an Anton Sprint V2. I prefer the TPI though as its much easier to use and purges alot quicker. Not too sure on calibration costs though. But thats another thing we get stung on anyway. :-(

I'm a Kane 455 kinda gal. The Anton prints and purges faster tho' (90 v 30 secs).

ave got the sprint v2 never used any others so cani reali say , but its easy to use , does what it says on the tin

what are calibration costs for everyones model ? havent bought my FGA either and the calibration cost is what im interested in imho

so kane or anton then half say kane half say anton are they both roughly the same quality?

would you bother buying full cpa1 it from them that they advertise or just det what you need

when i get the kane im gettin the full cpa1 kit, you get gas detector and temperature clamps and other things i believe

already got a gas detector i paid £150 from part centre for it so probably not worth buying full cpa1 kit then.
I was just wondering what was the best deal out there and what was the best quality

I would suggest the Anton V2, got myself one from the PHEX. The next PHEX is in april at wembley, they have a stand on there, they will throw in a couple freebie in there i.e. free filter and a free calibration for the 1st 2 yrs. It is a great kit to have.

bit far from wembley but if say i bought it from plumbcentre do you get a free 1st years calibration from manufacturer then? I do like the look of the anton v2 just dont want to jump in feet first I have asked others I know which one is the best and they all seem to say the one that they have got at the time.
would like to hear from some one who has owned both the kane and anton not just used both

ive got the anton sprint...........and its due for calibration soon............great more expence.

£55-12 months
£100-24months
£130-36months
£100-48 months
2 years warranty on o2 and co cells

It really is only a two horse race here. Kane just by a nose over Anton. All the rest fell at first hurdle.

If you can, go for the 455. Long life sensors mean cheaper servicing over the years, so this offsets the extra cost anyway.
I know a guy who keeps his 455 for gas and has bought a 425 just for his oil jobs and as a spare.

seen kane 425 for £400 way carry case, printer ,probe and leads and free gas detector seems too good to be true considering the 455 is around £400 for just the anyliser and with out anything else not even the probe and leads
