Blocked toilet

So friends, what is the best way to unblock a toilet please?

The custard reckons too many tissues

She's tried to plunge

Last one I did I used a drain rod & plunge end.

Any other ways? I don't particularly want to get my hands in there as you can imagine

I feel blessed to have not had any call outs to blocked toilets or soil pipes, just blocked sinks drains and they can be bad enough,

When I served my time we unblocked a drain to a block of flats, the 5hit came out the man hole about 8 foot high, I was glad I brought all the drain rods that day was a good 10 meters away when it went

Machine mart do a massive plunger for a tenner.
It will clear the most subborn king richards.
Best tennner I spent and ive only used it on a personal level !

I'm dubious of them. If there's a solid block and you're applying pressure... If it don't shift and you release, where's the excess pressure gonna discharge?

Turned a block bog away the other day , had a phone call emergency blockage in a shop so knew straight away someone had over poo'd .

My excuse not to do it was your in the city center no parking byeeee

Had one yesterday covered in a mountain of poo. Had to get my hand in there after the mop trick. Was a nappy !!!!

Plunged it with a rod & end piece

That is large and the aperture fits over a pan hole.
Large displacement of water when plunging works well for under a tenner.
Long handle means you don't get extras under your nails !
