I expect as many opinions as replies so what make and model (18 K ) to use existing Y plan external controls would you personally recommend or fit for your own ?

Broag Remeha Avanta 18V. If fitted by an approved installer, they come with a five year warranty.

have started installing viesmann's, they are reasonably priced and also have 5 years parts and labour guarentee if installed by certified installer. And also 10year guarentee on heat exchanger. Would be looking at a vitodens 100-W
