Has anyone used them or any similar website where you have to pay for leads? £16+ VAT to have someone tell you sorry we didn't go with your quote doesnt really float my boat.... But then again if you got an expensive job it would seem like money well spent.

Thought as much. It'd be like selling my soul to the devil paying a 20 spot for someone's name and address.

I used them a couple of times last year, got work out of it but I don't use them anymore, like all of these sites they are skimming off our backs.

I use Rated People. I say use, I bought a couple of leads and both never got back to me. I only joined up to pick up small jobs for the days when I have an hour or two spare, its seems full of people who want something for nothing.

great for the people running those web sites, £16 + VAT x 3 for every email they receive, some keep sending out the same leads for days.

Once they have your credit card details they are duty bound to max it out for you.

nothing wrong giving 10% for the job you won to someone but there charging just for the chance of a 'lead', thats wrong imo and i dread the day i submit to such practice!.

and then came the one that works the way it should...for free. no one charging no one for leads or services!!.

freeindex, got quite a few from there. the work goes to the closest to the job first but limited to 5 tradespersons only.

works for me.
