Hey guys

My boiler decided to lock out so after abit of research I cleaned the condensate trap and fire it back up all up and running for now but noticed the cables going into the flame had abit of bare ends showing which I could see the spark is this right?

better turn it off and call in a qualified technician to do a service properly and make it safe

You cant legally do what possibly needs to be done here, so nobody can advise you. You need a qualified person to take a look in person as has already been said.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and pay someone who knows what there doing and this is one of em ;)

The post will be locked as we can't advise you on what to do as you are not gas registered and should not be working on it.

you should contact a gas safe registered engineer
