Very simple question,

ensure the ball valve is isolated on the f and e tank, open drain cock, let water pour out for a couple of hours do the job and refill.

I understand how they work but just want to check this point, not had to do anything with one of these contraptions for a while.

make sure pump boiler and port valves r switched off as well
