As part of an upcoming bathroom job my customer has bought a Stuart Turner monsoon 2.0 bar single pump to boost the gravity hot for the taps.I've fitted loads of shower pumps but never one for taps, I've downloaded the instructions and on one of the diagrams it more or less shows the pump fitted straight off the top of the cylinder outlet, eg cut the pipe, feed it through the pump and connect back.Showers run straight from combi, yes combi its a strange set up in this house, the pump will on't really be feeding the Bath hot, kitchen hot and basin hot.

If I have read the post right, I'd be careful pumping from a combi.

Depending on the flow switch type you may cause problems.

Speak to the Boiler MF's before doing it.

Apologies in advance if I've misunderstood you phil

Yes, I wasn't going to mention the combi in case it confused things, this is a normal bog standard airing cupboard with a copper cylinder and loft tank, the combi jut heats it and supplys mains hot to the other part of the house.

I would fit it this way

Install an s flange / if cylinder has secondary hot water tapping at top you can use this

Install pump off pump connection and out of pump to hot house

Top connection off s flange / cylinder if using secondary tapping for vent

Problem I could see if using a t in the hot out it could draw air in from vent

Check size of header tank as well to make sure it doesn't run dry, especially if a combi is running at same time as bath filling.
