Afternoon ladies and gents,

I've been having some issues connecting a used Bosch Classixx dishwasher to a waste spigot attached to a sink trap.

The waste pipe doesn't have the usual rubber end that I can jubilee clip over the top of the waste spigot. It is hard plastic and the same diameter as the waste spigot. I'm thinking that when the DW was new, it came with some sort of rubber clamp on hose adaptor that has been lost.

Any idea if this is true, and where to get something to enable me to connect the waste outlet to the sink trap? Links to parts in common shops like screwfix etc would be very helpful if it isn't a specialist item.

Any advice greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance

Donny

Has your original spigot already been cut down? They have increments in size so you may get away with just buying a new spigot.

Yeh a new hose is simple enough to fit , youll struggle to seal the ribbed plastic any way,

Thanks for your thoughts chaps.

I looked into a new hose last night. Seems the official Bosch hose is the same as mine, with a small and inflexible plastic end. I have a picture but I am yet to be deemed worthy enough to post links.

I looked at the parts fiche on the Bosch website and there is an adapter, a black rubber tube with two spring clips that is missing from my machine.

Ordered one on ebay for £6. Expensive for a bit of rubber hose, but hoping it sorts it.

In case this comes up again in future, the part is Bosch 088403.

Cheers

The Bosch dishwashers came that way, - with the waste hose just having same diameter, same hard plastic end. They supplied when new a short piece of thin rubber black hose about 4" long & two clamps for to connect to waste spigots. I tried to get one once, but had a lot of trouble. If you could get a cutting of rubber hose that is not too heavy walled, it would do same job.

Can give you silicone hose with a 21mm inside diameter, it fits easily on 22mm copper pipe so it`s quite flexible if thats any use.
