if the work has been suggested by BG I would seriously suggest getting a second opinon as there may well be nothing wrong with your system . . .

They did not reccomemed you do this to get on their boiler cover scheme for £13 a month did they??

ps: when you talk to them ask if they can actually boil eggs as well! (probably a no!)

I love going in to do a quote after BG, means I can give a reasonable quote.

Basic rule of thumb with BG quotes is, half the quote and you're closer to the mark.

Get an independent GSI to quote, it'll be half the price and completed to a better standard most probably.

whose rule of thumb is that,,granted it will be cheaper,but i'd be tempted to keep the price high,if privy to price before hand,.too many i'll do it for nothing 6129 i'll pay ye for shadowing you on a few gas jobs brigade.K.P.H.

Only good thing with BG is the never never!!! Lost many jobs due to this. even though I am roughly half the cost???!!!
