Hi guys I am urgently in need of a calibrated analyser before Monday 5th November as I am
starting a new job, if need be I will have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. The only
reason I thought I'd try here 1st is that I have had to spend a small fortune to get a start
with this company i.e. Van, gas safe reg, asbestos awarness, public liability, van insurance,
CRB check etc... So I am trying to save myself a few quid.

Anything considered but must be calibrated with valid cert.

Cheers

whats that going to cost for a second hand calibrated one then, £200, 400 500?

why not pop over to plumb base in the morning and get a new regin for £229? then use as spare in the future?

I have seen these are they any good, If I was buying a new one as a temp I was looking at
the Kane 250 with a printer, does the regin have the option of a printer?

I picked up a year old Kane 250 with printer and new charger, freshly calibrated (calibration due 01/11/13)
with certificate for £270. This came with check list from Kane for the works carried out. Replace sensors, O2
sensor socket, battery springs and plate, printer batteries and paper roll, cleaned out, supplied new charger
and service pack.

Does what I need and for the money I am not complaining, I got it from a company that were changing their
brand of prefered analyser, they had over 40 units and had an agreement with Kane for fixed service/calibration
costs so they managed to pass on the saving.

I spoke to Kane when looking at analysers and they were so helpful, I found one particular FGA that was out
of calibration and their service department agreed to calibrate the unit while I waited.

Care to share the details of how to get these in case anyone else needs one?
