Central heating is driving me mad. Condensing boiler setup. Recently had thermostat replaced. Now recently Heating won’t come on when boosting. The little light on the controller comes on to say heating is on when boosted, 3 way valve (Drayton) is on ‘H’ but rads remain cold. Heating comes on on the timer but is sometimes erratic, occassionally stops heating rads even though stat set to highest temp. Have tried powering down and back up to reset everything and also resetting the boiler. Any easy fixes before I get the professionals back in?

Cheers
Steve

Sounds like the timer is on the way out

You got a multi meter ?

There should be a main wiring centre when boost is on test via the diagram below with hot water off and heating on boost do you have power at the orange wire ?

If not do you have power going to the room stat
