Hi
the valve was OK not stuck................ where exactly is the plug in socket under the boiler Steve

L1-L2 on the plug-in socket is the suply to external controls.... If you link them the boiler should fire up on 'c' and your rads'l get hot! If what you're saying is right! We can only go off what you're telling us Kenny1 yeh?

Link made, and worked a treat fired up no problem.......Hangs Head in Shame

GET NEW BATTERIES!!!! LOL

Hopefully it's all it is Kenny1 and not a new sender/reciever......... :)

Mmmm Batteries was the first thing I checked as a precaution replaced them with brand spanking new ones, have just priced sender/receiver on net £69 on one site

Well if you know that you've re-tuned them into each other as per manu instructs ... then replacing is the next stage! The sender and reciever do need to be married up once more yeh? Check out the manufacturers instructions as to how to do so! If you follow them yet they still do not work then replace both Kenny1...

Instructions clear, will follow your advice. Many thanks I've learned quite a lot these last days from you guys.

Will work safe

cheers Steve

And it cost you nowt! .. LOL

Our privelage Kenny1 ... There's more in plumbers than the rip off merchants portrayed on TV!
