Hi

Can anyone recommend a ch only boiler 24kw where the owner can use the existing external pumps rather than a boiler with a built in pump (landlord trying to save money). its an open vented system in a large house

a baxi solo would go on the existing wiring but there a bit of a rubbish boiler

any heat only boiler will do it that's why they make them. No point in getting one with a dual stat on it though as you will most likely be using the one.

do you know its the same boiler as the baxi 100he and Barcelona? the one that breaks down a lot and melts its heat exchanger

Yeah , I had that with a 100 . But all the Solos seem ok apart from the usual red seals every now and then . I have just E mailed Baxi regarding this apparent burner fault.
If its burner replacement I will be expecting them free !

so the broag aventa relies entirely on your existing pumps its a heat source only ?
