combi to system conversion

WB 12/14 Heatslave can't cope with two showers so fitted an unvented HWC on S plan, but need to shut off hot water section of combi.
Boiler engineer has visited and was going to do the work, but he does not respond now, not upset him that I am aware of.
Can anyone advise on the process, is the diverter valve removed or replaced?

you cant not have the hot water on the boiler eg as a combi should be

You can't shut it off as you're implying. You would probably be best to run a single hot water outlet off the combi ie, kitchen sink and then have the cylinder feeding all the other outlets.

As above use the hotwater side of the combi for a hot tap near the boiler itself , then use the cylinder for the other outlets . Kop
