You shouldn’t be commenting at all on boiler related issues until you have the GSR badge. If that is something that you are after then please feel free to PM one of the admin and we will help you out. You have openly admitted that your suggestion was a guess which could cost the OP even more money if you are wrong. My suggestion of finding an engineer that works on his make of boiler will actually save him money and hassle in the long run. The boiler manufacturer may even do a fix price repair.

@Dake205 , Read this .. if we would have told him what the problem was and HE fancied having a go and fixing it himself , blew his house up etc etc etc
I think there may have been just been a little **** hitting the fan . FORUM RULES , how many times .
