Cylinder on a Combination Boiler

Hi,

I read a post explaining the details of how this can be done a while back and now cant find it anywhere. I dont think it was on this forum, but does anyone know how this could be done?

S plan the heating normally feed the kitchen via the combi and bathroom via the unvented

This was using a four pipe type system. So could get pdhw. But on a combi.

I don't have the details but as I remember it was a credible description of how it could be done.

Won’t be on a combi, system boiler yes

Combi you would have to a plan it you could still have pdhw eg hot water priority

Exactly that. But I remember the other description was talking about a relay or something else I wondered if there was a little bit more to it

Are you using direct or indirect heating of the cylinder?
Is there a heating coil in the cylinder or is the whole hot water side of the system potable.

The only reason you would need a relay is if the tank stat is 24v. The pump requires 240v.

And the 'return' goes to the cold supply?
