i have a 14v black and decker drill given to me for a little job i done and i was suprised how good it was.batterys seem to hold charge for quite a while and dose most light things easy.

I have no idea what a Mason Master is!!? I'm 30 years old, so they can't have been around for ages. No offense lads!

they must be faily old as the bloke who i used to work with used them when he worked on site befor joining us. so must be 10 years at least i guess

I last used a mason master about 20 years ago. If there was no power available they were the only option for drilling in masonry. Until SDS became widely available they were sometimes the best bet for drilling holes in concrete as a hammer drill won't always touch concrete. I still have a set in the garage.

The Mason Master I have was my Grandfather's. My Dad can remember him using it when he was a boy, so they're somewhere around 50 years old!
