You checked that the div has fitted correct flue restrictor? If it was a DIY might have shoved wrong one in.

Also check silicone tube back to gas vale is clean and clear of shister.

I couldn't download the manual on my phone and there was no reference to it on the data label,I relied on the gas rate, which I did a good three times......Im thinking this may be my mistake.

What are the insulation pads like? They often have really bad cracks which the flame impinges on, resulting in high CO readings.
