educate me folks!.

just been into plumb line for a quick price on an intergas 24/18.

goes on to ask me why not use the above 'ferroli' as it comes with a 5year warranty and it is the same 'copy' of the intergas with 5 moving parts and easy to work on with reasonably priced parts?
its for a trouble free rental property and is £200+ cheaper.

is it as good as he says?

totally different heat exchanger but same principles of operation

Nothing like a ferroli ffs man where you coming from to even suggest they are the same.......honestly man :)

Not been around long enough to comment, hex is a 28?mm stainless pipe with a 15mm stainless pipe within it spirally wound like a gianoni. Remainder of pipework inside casing is stainless no o ring fittings, only plastic is flow switch. Electronics are Honeywell pump is wilo.

They are cheap though how good they are is yet to be proved, bit of a uphill battle with the Feroli badge on them though.

I've only heard of intergas on here.
Are they a good boiler/price.
Using Ideal logic 24's as budget combi.

now come on martin whys the better boiler 200 quid more?because its not a ferroli baxi/potterton golds come out 150-200 quid more than the cheaper ferrolis, heatline, glowworm etc but they last longer pays your money takes your choice

who! the bloke in p.l?

he's not saying :) but I think the ferrolli may have some legs if its all stainless and no plastic and I'm being nice to ferrolli as Id like some work off them idc

all i am saying is the guy in plumbline says they are identical inside to an intergas and have the same 5 year warranty.

but are £575 all in with clock, flue and loop and you dont have to buy the mounting plate seperate.
intergas is £675 + all the bits!!

i know its not the same but 'main' v baxi and vaillant group all have equivalents?

they work on the same principles they certainly arent identical as ferolli have a round hex/burner and intergas has a nice unique square one for starters.

right, so its just copying the principles and its still a ferolli pasta pack then!
