Hi

I am hoping that someone might be able to point us in the right direction. When I turn the hot water tap on, the boiler makes the usual noises etc, yet the water is freezing cold but there is no fault code on the control panel. The instruction manual says that the maximum water temperature is 55c, yet on the control panel it says it is heating it to 69c. Anybody got any ideas on what is wrong?

probably diverter valve stuck on heating circuit ,common fault on these boilers, there engineers come out, give it a whack and it works, then go away and say if it happens again let us know, which it does, then they replace valve if under cover still,if not, more expense for you but get use to it with this boiler

imho

Hi

We thought it might be that. The instruction manual is absolutely rubbish and we don't even know what the diverter valve looks like? We have now realised that when the hot water is switched on there should be a picture of a flame come up on the control panel and it isn't. Would you say that is is part of the same problem?

how does the diverter valve work? and is it not repairable as the cost of a new one is around 95-100 pounds.....?

I am finding that the boiler needs reseting, as when we get no hot water i find the front panel light flashing on and off per second, but this only happens during the winter months, during the summer month we always get hot water, could this be a different fault from the one mentioned above even though it relates to hot water??

many thanks
