First boiler swap of the new year

Went to an Ideal mini C28 this morning and just about got it going but warned customer that I didn't think it was going top last long as it had a chattering gas valve, very noisy fan and sticking CH flow switch. It lasted until 5.30 this evening so I'm back there on Wednesday fitting a 30Kw Ideal Independent. Just need to find a decent merchant to pick one up from.

You done better than me mike i went to a worcester 24si this morning soaked with water which eventually ran down to main board and killed it so cust decides to upgrade to newer boiler asks a load of questions and then decides they will do it themselves

dont need A gas fitter according to them but they are happy to pay £50 if i sign it off !!!!

around this way tho its becoming a serious problem now the amount of boilers i goto and have had diy repairs or non registered boilers installed getting out of hand imho

They don't seem to advertise the independant on the Ideal site at all.
