Hi,

Been asked to quote on replacing flue as current flue will go into new extension.

Will be going about an extra 1 meter (90 degree bend required). It will be boxed over at a later date when the extension is completed (advised need inspection hatches). However it will be about 350mm off the wall how would I clip the flue?

Cheers

drop from the ceiling with anchors and threaded rod to suit the brakets supplied usually 8 mm or 10mm rod will do and make sure its well supported and you have access to inspect flue going forward check falls are ok and all joints secured properly

Cheers for the replys so far.

How about packing the clip off the wall using some wood and then attaching the clip to that?

as long as its secure it dont see why not if in doubt check the MI's with your replacement flue

Yep as long as ts secure and 25mm from combustibles.

baxi clips if i remember use threaded bar so can be adjusted to suit. other manufactures are available!

Remember to check your not going over the maximum length of flue by adding a extension and a 90
