So ffx are doing another show at blue-water glow centre in February 21st to the 23rd.

FFX Tool Show 2014, Build It, Glow Exhibition Centre, Bluewater, Kent

tickets are free if you sign up now.

i went last year and all the prices were well under any internet prices, all the manufacturers guarantee to drop their prices for the show.

which everyone last year honoured apart from makita as "they didn't need too as they have the market share"
they set up and announced that.

they were told to fock off !!!!!

also great as you can test pretty much everything.
festool shifted an lorry load of plunge saws.

really good to go to if you're looking to get new kit.

I didn't find the Milwaukee guys overly helpful. I went with the intention of buying the 18v fuel combi drill and impact driver set, but the guy I was talking to started talking to another customer when I was still asking questions and looking over the drill etc. Ended up with a Panasonic set, which I was impressed with when trying it out. Managed to get an extra battery, head torch and coat thrown in for free as well.

Rottenburger make excellent quality tools I just wish their gear was rammed down your throat a little? Non of the national merchants ever seem to have any gear on display or even a purpose made display? What's all that about? Kopex and monument pipeslices, cobras and Bacho shifters .... Regin gauges and monument mats.... It's all tat.
