Need I remind you all that I'm midday through a week of enforced sobriety? The bright, white lights of reality kicked in yesterday.

Everything is scarily real.

I'm starting to get fractious.

Having a muppet lock up a building and set the alarm yesterday didn't help. I realised this as I left the boiler house. I also discovered a repeat sounder near the boiler house door I didn't know about. Mrs Croppie is less than impressed because she has to deal with my undercrackers.

I'm not a grump tizerboy....just need to be in a fit state to deal with a drunk daughter and friend and get a taxi trip in the bank for my visit to the brewery in a couple of weeks....lets call it an investment.

Mrs S is the same. She hasn't twigged yet that I find it, eat it, and then buy another box/packet to replace it.

Still, we've only been married 30 years, so she still has time to wise up...
