I guess thats an option - I just assumed you girls would moan about having to haul your tools up the loft!!

Being a bungaglow, space is a premium..... so good suggestion!! What would the main differences be between installing in loft compared to exisiting location? Flue penetrating roof? additional plumbing?
do you have a gable end wall ?
 
Our present boiler is in a loft of a bungalow with a hip roof, it is easy to set up a vertical board to go from floor to roof timbers, and then mount the boiler on that board it can be located anywhere that is conveniently near to the section of building that contains the plumbing for domestic and rads. Make sure the entrance is large enough to carry a boiler up there and job done. With a good sturdy loft ladder of course.
