Hello ... I am in possession of a "Radiation Crystalglow" Gas fire, purchased way back in 1967 ...
Yes it is still working perfectly ... However the "Ceramic" parts of the heating element, (the ones that look like "waffles")
are now damaged ... I would like to replace them;

Can anybody advise me of a firm that supplies these parts, preferably by mail order as I live in Brussels Belgium.

For information the Gas Fire was purchased when I was living in Ealing (London) back in the "sixties", and was
purchased in a showroom of the "North Thames Gas Board" ... There are "treasured" memories attached to the purchase
of that fire.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

doubt you will be able to get parts for a fire that is that old

You could try the manufacturers but I doubt you'll find anywhere thats stocks parts for this anymore. Best of luck to you though

Hi,

Good to hear that you have still working such a good old fire that was efficient since the glass front enabled the radiants & convector heat exchanger to not be cooled by the cold air in the room so much and of course it had a blue flame burner. It also had a modulating gas valve sensing the nominal air temperature which later gas fires didn't have. I too have a similar fire but a bit more modern (1970s), mine is a Radiation Ascot Supersaver 70.

All the best,

Martin
