A local guy to us used to have a dog that he trained to sniff gas.

He worked for the gas board. Would turn up. Set his dog on the case and would find the leak in minutes

I wish I had the time to do this!

i have one of these and they are a good piece of kit can save hours of searching.those little yellow wands are better than nowt i suppose but i left mine at a customers and bother going back for it , to many things interfere with them like air fresheners.
