Hey i don't know it all mate but when it comes down to how much gas is passing through it's interesting to take a step back to basics :) I often wonder if they're taught to be honest :)
 
5% above and 10% below. recent gas safe tech bulletin about it.

even more of a pain when you are gas rating on those meters that you keep having to press the button for a reading.
The un-written rule has finally been written.
Missed that TB.

Sometimes on here it's so easy to 'tell' someone what to do or what's written in a book! ................. I like your want to know Mutley Racer :) It makes a huge difference from work being a dead end job to a vocation! I'll try to remember, when i can, to check out the grey matter :)
 
I like it. I am trying hard and will keep on until I am finished. Well knees and that are any way. Nothing better in the world than learning.
 
This profession certainly offers us that regards learning! In the year or so I've been here I've learned a shed load!! Always learning hmmm! :)
 
Not so much of an unwritten rule now, there was a TB issued on this a few weeks ago, stating 5 over 10 under
 
If you can't get it to stay on max as its heating up too quickly, crack open the drain valve and open the filling loop that will keep the boiler running
