got a call today, sparky had been and disconnected the pump that had water in the connector box. Custard wanted HW, but sparkie hadnt shown her how to turn on immersion, just left the wires hanging, charged a large fee and gone, the next plumbing co had taken a retainer am by card over the phone and done a no show, I asked for a picture (as I was the only lifeboat mechanic in town) and got a pic, pointed out the immersion switch over the phone, told her to turn off the boiler and controls and booked her in for monday. sparks had only taken out the pump wiring and left it hanging and live!! still off I went 10 minutes later, 2 rescues, a third later by the rubber duck as well, busy busy
