I got my Gola coming up soon for level 2 is there any cd to revise just for that, ive got smart screen and moodle which is a break down on all the units, and do any of you have anything that may help.those of you that have already done would you say easy - hard

I found it quite easy. The best thing to do is go over all your modules you've done.

Hi Steveb

I have done! I've passed all my exams up to yet and revisied properly for each one. The only thing is that other students im my class are falling behind and i am the only one who has passed all my exams so far, first time. And for my tutors its quite hard for them to sit with only 1 me alone to cover the modual. I dont want to leave it too late too - n ur right i should revise

Hi everybody again,

Is there anybody who is registered with C&G SmartScreen because I need the exam papers which are on there 6129 level 2 central heating onces. My smartscreen has been expired. Could somebody email me them there should be two paper 1 and paper 2. Thank you

How has it expired. If your a student it's part of your course?

Smartscren emailed my tutor and said that the college will have to register again, I don't know why though! If any body could get on to smart screen 6129 basic plumbing studies level 2 there are two exam papers on central heating with the answers on them, could some body email them to me [email protected]
thanks

the benefit of using smart screen is that it is just like a mock practice on line of taking the gola exams, that is the point.
The answers to the questions that you seem so much in need of ( from this thread and others ) are in your jtl book and what you cover at college. when you sit the actual tests there are always going to be questions that you did not cover, that you have not memorised. 2 answers out of 4 are usually silly anyway. researching the complete subject rather than being given all the answers is what you need to do.

if you want to earn that £50k all plumbers are on you will have to put that little effort in jtl book

50K :)
I'm revising hard honestly can somebody help me out with these questions
14) A I THINK
15) B I THINK

14An anti-gravity valve would be fitted in a

d)pipeline in which unwanted circulation was occurring.

6The cold water supply to a fully pumped open vented central heating systemshould beisolated at the

a)stop valve to the incoming cold water supply pipework
b)fullway valve on the cold feed pipework from the F & E cistern
c)service valve to the float operated valve to the CWS cistern
d) service valve to the float operated valveto the F & E cistern.

7 Onan open vented fully pumped system, positioning the pump between the cold feedand vent would

a)mean installing a three port motorised valve on the primary flow
b)increase the efficiency of the central heating system
c) result in water pumping over the ventto the F & E cistern
d)result in water pumping over the vent to the CWS cistern.

1. incorrect
2. yes
3. incorrect
4. yes
5. incorrect

hi again

The most efficient way of draining a single radiator when removing it from the first floor of a dwelling is to:

1 Isolate the valve and drain down the radiator or

drain down the system as far as the first floor

question 2 answer: Isolate the valve and drain down the radiator

question 1 answer:
and the water level in the feed and expansion cistern should be below that of the cold water
storage cistern
