Gold or logic

I usually fit the Potterton gold but customer asking about the lodic is it worth me talking him out of if or are they just as good not fitted a lodic to be far.

I agree with tb the logics are fantastic boilers. Over 60 fitted and no issues. Once you've tried one you won't look back!

Money's a issue but I've fitted load of golds no probs but I attend loads of w/b on breakdowns!

They have to be installed right, don't forget WB are by far the most popular combi outselling all others so you are bound to see more playing the percentage game!

I've had no problems with Logics. Golds look a bit tatty but most have worked fine. The Jury is out on this one.

Logics are very good boilers. Forget the bad old Ideal reputation. These are a different beast and are proving to be very reliable.

Face it vern, they're overpriced rubbish. Fixed more Worcesters than anything else last year, a lot of them for parts that should never break, I.e. pinholed plastics.

Logics for me too. love em!! as for worcester they can go swivel fed up paying top money for supposedly the best boiler and having to build the danm thing straight out the box! Plastics are toot and pin hole, heat exchanger falls to bits fan's blow when the trap blocks up as a result of the naff heat ex. They bark orders at you to install x amount before they give you the extended warrenty. Hello your supposed to be the best boilers now give me my danm warrenty!! oh yeah there also german. hmmmmmmm maybe thats why they are falling to bits. they are trying to bankrupt us through boiler spares so we cant afford an army then they will attack! You have all been warned lol

I would say Logic. Fitted around 20 over the last couple of years and none of them has caused a problem.
Haven't fitted a Baxi for years and certainly wouldn't go for worcester.

Ahh right must note in my diary that not fitting a pap worcester boiler correctly causes a dry joint in the pcb or turning the boiler off when going on holiday pings the fan , yep noted installer fault
