Ive had the £5 ones and I think their a false economy, they last about 5mins in my experience.

got this one christmas (HL10) Head-A-Lite Rechargeable - Clulite | Cluson Engineering Ltd. brilliant lamp! even got a charge indicator on! nothing worse than a led one going off when your in an attic!!! you could seriously use this one for rabbit lamping on full beam! worth every penny!

i was given one of these it's brilliant didn't realise it cost that much might look after it now I know

I got a pro safe one form CEF a year or so back, its was a model or so up from that one and did I get a shock when I go the bill in for it! I think it was a about £75 + the dreaded. Its been great though, rechargeable and lasts for ages.

I use an LED Lenser, its dimmable and focusable. Just shy of £30 in Maplin's about a year ago.
