been out this morning to have a look at the cylinder and it has been well and truly bodged when having the immersions fitted, too much force used resulting in bending the cylinder round the boss on the upper immersion.


just have to find a new economy 7 combination cylinder now

well just an update. did the job today, the bodge was worse than i thought. not only was the top immo boss screwed but the lower one was also!


top immersion with copious amounts of gunk and ptfe all over it.
nice shiny new cylinder installed.

top one is new the bottom one is from the old cylinder. perfect condition so i reused it. all the gunk was on the top one that was leaking, nothing on the bottom one and no leaks.
