Well into the second week in the job! It's crap! Need to get my finger out and sort the plumbing business out!

take up bowls on sundays ;) due to the...higher end of the age scale most of the members have one or more propertys quite often!
Badminton is good too, as is hockey!

starting out is easier when you rub shoulders in the right circles!
I know it sounds silly but try it, might not show results straight away but once the ball is rolling :D

I have had some work out of lads from my footy team, so your idea doesn't sound bad!

Ive been going to bowls with my friend (shes 21 same as me)

I've had two unvented's, a load of little jobs, full radiator swaps, fitting trvs and a load of oil services out of it!

Also as you have the time and starting to build business offer loft insulation and boarding out aswell (good practice and a few quid in your pocket)

This is an amazing book, i highly recomend it, i used it to learn about how to properly insulate, paid for my first car by doing it!
has most general building things in it and can get you outa sticky situations.

Thought I would have a little update for anyone that's intrested! Been working alot of overtime this last month so not had much time on here or plumbing! Had a few little jobs though! Sorted two toilet float valves and a dripping bar mixer shower! After doing the last job the shower I have had them come back to me about pricing up an outside tap for him. So it is still slow on the plumbing side but hopefully going in the right direction!

Well haven't posted on here for a long while! Basically not anywhere near where I wanted to be on the plumbing side! Trying to pencil in jobs whilst working another job was hard! Especially when there was lots of over time! So lost out on a few plumbing jobs because of that, and basically the jobs I was getting through word of mouth dried up!

Not sure what to do really! I need my job at Tesco for income and I cant really turn down any overtime, but at the same time I feel it has ruined the little name I was building up for myself after letting a customer down. I don't want to give up plumbing really or it would be a complete waste of time!

Any suggestions?
