Hi I've a current problem with a gas boiler and looking a bit of advice. It's not a combi just a flow and return from boiler with the hot water cylinder plumbed from the main heating pipes. Boiler seems to hit around 95 degrees tops then goes out on high limit. Once reset it does the same process, does not cut in and out with the stat. Would this be stat failure or anything else?

Many thanks

Matt

or you could check the pump is working seeing as its not a combi and the chances are its in your airing cupboard although im sure the airing cupboard police willl be along shortly

Check the pump is working, posiibly any blockages or a valve has been switched off, the only thing you cant to is work on the boiler, but you dont have to be gas safe to change a pump
